Our World Game – Places – The Pier & Wonderland

Remember going to the Pier when you were a kid? Yeah the great big wooden platforms that stand in the sea? Come on the ones Britain is leaving to rot! So, so, sad, anyway you’ll be glad to know there’s one in Our World, accept this one isn’t stood in the sea it’s floating in the sky! And unfortunately there are no chip shops or arcade machines to play on (sorry I tell a lie it looks as though there is but it’s yet to open). There are however, two pretty cool things to do at the pier.

The first place to checkout is Snaps. The Snaps Booth lets you take photos of you and your friends in front of a selection of different backdrops. Unfortunately only three people are allowed in the booth at any one time so large group photos are not possible, but hopefully the Our World team will look to change this. Once the pictures are taken they are stored away in your photo album so you can check them out at a later date. For free players your photo album is limited to ten pictures but for paying players your album is virtually limitless!

The second activity on offer at the Pier is the SkyScope. It’s pretty much your typical seaside scope except this one doesn’t demand excessive fees for a ten second peak at the sea. In fact you won’t see any sea from this scope what you can see though is the “Down World”. Down World is essentially their world (anyone who isn’t playing Our World), it’s the world the Our World gamers don’t want to know about, you know the world with all those boring meetings where people sit talking about boring subjects! Anyway try it yourself the next time you’re at the pier. There are all sorts of funny notes attached to various buildings in the Down World that make for amusing reading.

That’s it for the Pier would you believe. The place gives the impression it’s under construction and I’m sure new activities are in the works. I’d personally like to see fairground rides in Our World; you know the old classics like dodgems, the horses, perhaps a cheap can thrower thrown in for good measure! Oh and not forgetting the doughnuts, you can tell I’ve been on too many trips to the seaside, can’t you?
When you hear the name Wonderland you know it’s going to be a pretty wacky place to go to. You won’t be disappointed. If you’ve ever seen the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory you will know what I am talking about and no I’m not talking about the crummy version with Johnny Depp in! Yes Wonderland is Our World’s version of Willy Wonkers chocolate factory!

Upon arrival in wonderland you are surrounded by gigantic pieces of candy, lucky charms and colourful crystals sticking out of the ground. It’s a pretty impressive sight and it’ll make you hungry if you haven’t eaten, I’m getting hungry just writing about it!

There are three places you to go visit in Wonderland and my favourite of the three is Cake Mania. Cake Mania as the name implies is a pretty crazy place to hang out, but I bet it’s not what you’d expect. In Cake Mania you’re not there to eat cake I’m sorry to say, however you can choose a cake on offer. Yes it sounds confusing let me explain further. Each cake has its own costume that comes with it, so when you order a cake you’re not really ordering a cake but a costume to wear. There are four costumes in total but my favourite is a pink bunny rabbit costume, I won’t spoil it by revealing what the other three are. So cake mania is really just a wacky place to dress up at no cost (a rarity in Our World), with your friends.

The other two places to check out are Enchantments (candy, charms and fairies that follow you around) and Sugar Star (clothes and furniture), both are shops and have their own unique flavour of items to purchase.
Cake Mania and the shops are not the only entertaining things about wonderland it’s probably the most scenic of all places to walk around. So I’d suggest once you are done dressing up and shopping you go for a walk and marvel at the fantastic surroundings, like I said earlier though try not to work up too much of an appetite, or if you can’t help it have some food on hand!

PS3 Games – Two Sides of the Same Coin

What’s up everyone? It is just the time for some fun and real frolic to dust off the tiredness and stress of your job. I am talking about PlayStation 3, the latest console from Sony entertaining both the kids as well as the adults equally. With hectic work schedules from 9 to 11, we definitely deserve the luxury of relaxation. You can never ever get anything much better than this gaming mania. It will simply be the world where we can be the stars with nothing and absolutely nothing to worry about.

Now, let me introduce you to our new friend Mr.PS3 Games. The most adorable character about our friend is that it doesn’t include any hand held game console or mobile phones which run a completely different version of the game under the same name. It is an updatable software and operating system of PS3 that seems to be identical to PSP. The graphic used is none other than 3D computer graphics API software.

Something that is definitely guaranteed is we can watch it blossom as time goes into a machine that has something for everyone. A fact that can’t be denied is Sony electronics’ dream of PS3 has become the entertainment hub of every house today.

As everything else this too does have its pros n cons. When it helps in brain development, increases alertness and gives us a great deal of relaxation, it does produce a lot many couch potatoes too. Limiting the co curricular activities and exercise to just movement of eyeballs and fingers leaving an imprint on the couch. But this isn’t a strong enough reason to deprive the opportunity for enjoyment. The success rate has gone to an extent where media has even launched play station official magazine. You can check them online also for some great and updated news on the console. The top names you should definitely remember are:

1. Final fantasy XII walkthroughs.

2. God of war III walkthroughs

3. Dead rising 2 walkthrough.

4. Red dead redemption walkthrough.

5. Heavy rain walk through.

I would say my personal favorite is heavy rain walkthrough. Try it and I assure, you will never regret it. So guys what are you waiting for? Go ahead and enter the world of PlayStation 3 games and realize what you have been missing till now. It will certainly be the world where you’ll mark your domain and leave an imprint of joy!

Operation Mania Game Review

Filling in a doctor’s shoes is real hard, especially when you are the only doctor running the whole hospital. That’s not possible, you say? Well, in Operation Mania, everything seems to be possible as you try to help Dr. Humerus run the whole hospital in this wacky time management game.

Operation Mania is all about the story of Dr. Humerus as he tries to attain both wealth and fortune by being the best doctor in the whole world. Well, you might say that’s certainly not a doctor-like trait, but the guy only has his skills, tools and word puns to go around with, so a little fame can be an impressive addition to his resume as well. Besides, if you’re the only doctor in the world, you really won’t settle for anything less, right?

Anyway, your primary objective in this game is to earn enough money for each level in order the reach your target profit per day. Reaching intern status will let you move on to the next level, but in case you want more money and prestige to come with all your efforts, try aiming a little higher for doctor or specialist status. All you got to do is to match patient colors and make service combos to reach ever higher on your career. But of course, that’s easily said than done.

Funny thing about Operation Mania is the fact that Dr. Humerus is the only one available to do all hospital duties. From admission, to consultation, to even the actual operation, you’ll have to manage your time effectively to see to all of your patient’s illnesses. And during times of emergency or epidemic, brace yourself for more and more patients trying to get treated first in line.

Funnier still are the actual maladies that you’ll confront during the course of patient operations. From actual butterflies in the stomach to a wrenched back, all the diseases are presented with their literal meanings, making the game much wackier still. Of course, you can optionally do manual operation yourself by playing mini-games, but keep in mind that mini-games get faster every time you play them, so it’s just easier just to play them during emergency situations.
